Ukrainian authorities are not interested in disclosing the truth about Maidan - Israeli Journalist

in #russia5 years ago

Israeli documentary film director, Anna Stephan, who shot the sensational documentary “The Square of Broken Hopes” dedicated to the events on Maidan, stated that the Ukrainian authorities are not interested in a fair investigation into what happened five years ago. According to Anna Stephan, the people featured in her work of investigative journalism were ready to appear in court. But no one listened to them. Instead, the Ukrainian SBU called up the journalists who helped the author in the work. And the film itself was subsequently banned. Do the Ukrainian authorities regard this documentary as an uncomfortable truth?
