Running Report [September 30th - October 20th 2018]
It is a 'real autumn' Sunday morning and I am sitting at home doing administrative work. Among other things recording the runs of the last three weeks.
21 runs excluding today's which is yet to happen.
Most of them were short late evening runs since I didn't put running into the family schedule - yet.
Some numbers
Metric | Number |
---|---|
Period | 30.09.208 - 20.10.2018 |
Runs | 21 |
Total distance | 135.63 km |
Average distance | 6.5 km |
Total time | 13 hours 15 minutes |
Longer than 10K runs | 4 |
Next steps
I'll have to work on scheduling the runs better. Family activities take priority and the time slot left is very late evening which doesn't allow for long runs. I'll shift them in the late afternoon when possible.
Since the goal for until December is building the basic endurance and creating a pattern I am quite satisfied - for now.
In December, I'll start adding harder and longer runs. Harder meaning more trails and climbs. I am not into speed. Short tempo and quick runs, intervals included, will come into picture no sooner than March.
Running project
When you are a runner and post about your runs regularly then your immediate action is to join the #runningproject initiative led by @toofasteddie. It is your duty as a runner on Steem platform :)

Welcome!
Actifit
Of course, I have to mention the @actifit app. Since October the 9th, my last activity of the day is to publish the #actifit report. It is a great motivational factor. I am looking forward to their updates both with app and with the additional sources which can be incorporated into the activity count.
I will remain their delegator and will push for the ambassador status - whatever that means :)
Which leads me to the invitation. Join the #actifit initiative, install the app on your phone and start counting your steps and publishing your reports.
No need to be a masochist to run well... but a bit of pain could make you stronger. ;)
