I didn't manage to set a new PB this weekend, so my successive PB setting streak has been lost! I was, on the other hand, really happy with the effort I managed to put in yesterday. I spoke about attempting to keep my pace more steady across my runs, and I feel that it is definitely translating into them nicely. Apart from the 1st km, my splits were pretty close to 4:10m/km and that's exactly what I was aiming for.
I ran this with my brother, but he ran at 3:50m/km (ish) pace and I had no chance of keeping up with him so didn't even attempt to. I, instead, ran my own race and hoped for the best time wise. I think next week might finally be the week I'll break that 20-minute mark...

Great run!
For one thing, you're already very fast, great. On the other hand, the smooth running speed will also benefit you during longer runs. It gives you better control.
