RE: Run Walk Marathon Strategy by @runningproject
That's a really interesting theory...I've run 12 marathons in my life and I usually walk through some of the water stops but I might just have to try this strategy and see how it works.
I haven't done a full marathon since Las Vegas in November of 2015 but have done a few halfs since then. Maybe I'll give this method a shot sometime after I qualify for Boston which I hope to do in the next year and a half (before I turn 40).
Nice to see the @runningproject growing and I'm glad to be a supporter of it! Keep on running folks!
I think it would take real discipline to do this, especially when we think of walking in a race as almost giving up or quiting.

Hahaha!
I think I wouldn’t break 3h time following that strategy, nevertheless it is interesting!
I know, its pretty crazy to suggest that taking a one minute break would let you run sub 4 minute k's for a marathon.
