1 week rest and then back at it... AKA OUCH!
OUCH! so it seems my knee is not quite recovered from the rugby tournament. I went to do wind sprints with the boy child last night and I was slow as hell. We only got 9 sprints in before my knee started to swell up again, but we jogged and walked the rest out to make sure I was getting movement in.
I have 90ish days until the ultra. I know I have the endurance for it cardiovascularly, I don't know if I have the leg strength so I am going to focus on wind sprints and leg strengthening in the next couple of weeks with the goal of being able to do 50meter sprint, 150 run for 1 hour straight.
