Kranjskogorska 10ka - Kranjska Gora 10K Run This Afternoon - First Official Appearance For Scorum
Today at 6 PM in Kranjska Gora - 10K run called Kranjskogorska 10ka is on for the 24th time.
Yours truly is present at the event in two roles. As a printer of bib numbers ...
... and as an active participant.
Did you notice the team name in the line where my entry is? Yes, it's Scorum!
Is this the first official participation at a recreational event for the Team Scorum?

The run itself is a fairly easy affair. 5 kilometers on a closed for the traffic asphalt road to the north in direction of Rateče, U-turn and run back into the city. Almost flat with maybe 60 meters of total climb. The only challenge will be to keep a decent pace in an afternoon heat and humidity.
My A goal is to run a constant tempo and to reach the finish in under 55 minutes time.
I've run this event several times before and my PB is just over 40 minutes. That was some eleven years ago, I guess :)
Anyway, have a great Wednesday and cheer for me in the afternoon.

:) Merci! I am being conservative today. I will start easy and then see how I feel and build on it. Perhaps go for a positive split ...
