Wow. Great to see this one went viral! Great advice. I am going to work with #runningproject on a training program, so I will definitely link to this series as a resource for newbies. I too was inspired by Born to Run, and it was what encouraged me to rethink my commute and start running to work. I think one possible form of motivation (one that works well for me) is just thinking of some of my running as nothing more than practical transportation. I also switch between running and walking a lot on my commutes, partly due to being in the city, but also just to remember that all that matters on those runs is if I get to work or home and how much I’m enjoying the trip. Looking forward to working with you on the project and learning more!
This is a very healthy view regarding movement... it is what is for: to help us move from A to B. :) Collateral benefits for mind and soul and body are just collateral benefits. I look forward to working with you on the @runningproject as well. To be able to share and get new experiences, motivation, knowledge here in this community is very valuable to me and works magic for my running motivation!
