My Running Log 2018-01-17 the 23rd “January17”　ランニング記録2018-01-17 23回目の”1月17日”

Today, January 17, is the 23rd anniversary of the Great Hanshin Earthquake, which killed more than 5000 people.
今日、1月17日は、五千人以上が亡くなった阪神大震災から、23年です。

This is “Minatono-Mori Park”, whose formal name is “Kobe Quake Restoration Memorial Park”. This park is a part of my usual running course. And I sometimes do an interval training at the track of this park.
ここは「みなとのもり公園」です。正式名称は「神戸震災記念公園」といいます。この公園は僕はいつもランニングのときにここを通ります。このトラックでインターバルトレーニングをすることもあります。

This park was established on the vacant lot of former Kobe Port Station as a part of redevelopment after the Great Hanshin Earthquake. So this park has various equipments which is useful in a time of disaster. There is a water storage tank under the ground of the track. There is an emergency warehouse storage in “Viewing Hill”, too.
この公園は震災後の再開発の一環として旧神戸港駅の跡地に建設されました。そのため、この公園には災害時に役立つさまざまな設備が備えられています。トラックの地下は貯水槽になっていますし、「展望の丘」の中も非常用倉庫になっています。

This clock always shows “5:46”, that was the time of occurrence of the Great Earthquake.
この時計は震災の発生時刻、5時46分を常に示しています。

Today I ran 17km after work at Harbor Walk. I felt anew thankful that I can run in safety.
今日は仕事の後、ハーバーウォークで17km走りました。安全に走れることにあらためて感謝しました。
