Runforsteem - run in Boston

We are in Boston this weekend for my son’s college graduation. It’s almost a graduation because he got an email last week saying he still had to do one more subject. Needless to say we were thrilled with the news. He is a sweet boy but not well organized. Anyway apparently they can still participate in the ceremony if they are finishing over the summer so it should all work out. Just needs to find a job now.

He is an international student so is given a year to work in the US after graduation and he hopes he will be able to get a special visa available to Australians which allows people with an undergraduate degree to work year to year. So Australians don’t have to go compete for the h1b visas which are difficult to get.

Anyway I love to run in Boston and when we arrived yesterday it was in the 50s. A nice change from the Florida heat. I went for a run around the Charles river loop which is always quite busy with walkers runners and cyclists.

I’m starting to feel much better after a couple of weeks of iron supplementation and my times are improving. I still have to follow up with the doctor to see what my levels actually were and what is going on. But as we know all is pretty right with the world if we get a run in and it feels like it wasn’t ridiculously hard.
