RSI backtest failure + RSI rejection = Drop!! Simple lines can, and do help us gauge how price will respond in time. The RSI is not as lagging of an indicator as most thing it is. In fact, in my intensive research, and application, of the RSI indicator it does appear to be a VERY LEADING INDICATOR if you know what to look for. I don't know if anyone has studied one indicator with as much granularity as I have studied (and continue to study) the RSI - spanning close to 20 years now - so I know that I can demonstrably speak with authority. Love!

Uniformity and Negative Divergence - #732
There is a need to extend major RSI trend lines since they do offer some hidden signals down the road. Here is a good example.
We look at how to draw simple lines on the RSI to determine where the odds of price movement seem to be pointing to.
And don't forget to account to uniform or symmetric RSI support or rejection on any previously important RSI line as per the instrument's own trading history.
