technical its the wrong dice. on attacks its always @ rolld20
the dice you have been using is only to activate snike attack and hide. we can let is slide. the enemy in the quest are very veak so its just a matter of time before you killed him anyway.
it can be a bit complicated the attak system but when you undersand it is pretty easy.
