This week President Trump delivered his 2019 military spending budget request. He vowed to rebuild the "depleted" military with a massive increase in spending. Will we be more economically secure with a trillion dollars dumped into military spending? How about our national security, with many more foreign military adventures newly funded?

Will we be more economically secure with a trillion dollars dumped into military spending?
Probably yes, where do you think all that money goes? It goes back in the economy, I live in the best state. Very few people consider that a lot of what makes it the best is that about $10 billion dollars a year goes from taxpayers to defense contractors in the state, they provide a lot of great jobs and pay a lot of taxes here. On the other hand if they use it to build things in Iraq and then pay to demolish those things then that spending probably does not provide a lot of domestic benefit.
