I'll give you one guess what this blog is about...

.

So long story short I have written a guest blogpost for a website called Yopics that specializes in article writing. It is about a beautiful city in Romania near the Serbian border called Timisoara. Feel free to have a look and let me know what you think :-)

If you could let me know what you think in the comments section I'd really appreciate it. Until then I'm going to enjoy the rest of my holiday and mentally prepare myself for writing another book. Wish me luck!!!

Sort:

Thank Pikachu and his evil minions for Google Translate...

I went there in early 2017 and was pleasantly surprised by the city. A cool aspect as well aside from the culture and the historic look is that for some reason chicken is incredibly cheap in Romania. I gorged on so many chicken kebabs and chicken burgers while I was there...

Sorry...I assumed you were Romanian, that's why I wrote in Romanian language... Romania has cheap prices for a lot of things. There are some beautiful places to visit.

No worries. That's what Google was invented for...

I wanted to explore a lot more of Romania while I was there, but I ended up getting a concussion after being punched in the face in Serbia (Long story https://steemit.com/serbia/@lewisjfclarke/europe-trip-stop-26-belgrade-serbia-the-day-i-found-out-i-could-take-a-punch) so I had to stay in Timisoara for a week, which wasn't hte worst thing in the world but it did mean I only got to see Timisoara and Bucharest.

Do you have any recommendations? I heard Brasov was really nice

Yea. Sibiu, Cluj ( which ia Transilvania) and the area of "The Danube's Boilers" gets a lot of attraction, especialy in summer ( it's close to where I live), and if you plan to drive there are spectacular roads on the mountain called Transalpina and Transfagarasan. Search the locations on Google...it will give you an idea.

Good to know. Cluj and Sibiu were on my list as well. Sibiu because a few travellers had talked about it and Cluj because of the football team. I think Dan Petrescu managed them at one point.

Yes. A good era for CFR CLUJ...
