A Rohingya refugee child dies in hill collapse in Ukhia upazila of Cox's Bazar

OCIA OC Md. Abul Khair said that on Friday afternoon, the accident took place in Ukhia's Kutupalong Ekchar Madhurshra Rohingya Refugee Camp.

The deceased was identified as Khayaz, 8, daughter of Habibur Rahman of the DD block of the camp.

OC Khair told the witnesses, "Before the evening Rohingya children were playing under hilly area. Suddenly, when the clay ground collapses, two babies are buried. Khyaj died due to the locals being rescued from the soil.
