Today we celebrate another birthday in the music world, the one by George Roger Waters. He became 75 years old today. But who is Roger Waters?
If you know Pink Floyd, you also know Roger Waters because he was one of the founders, the voice and the composer of the band.

heute feiern wir wieder ein Geburtstag in der Musik Welt, und zwar die von George Roger Waters. Er wurde heute 75 Jahre alt. Aber wer ist Roger Waters?
Wenn ihr Pink Floyd kennt, kennt ihr auch Roger Waters, weil er war einer der Gründer, die Stimme und der Komponist der Band.
After this song it should be known who Roger Waters is. He was with Pink Floyd together until they split after a fight in 1985. I think it's a pity because they did really good music together. My favorite song is Wish You Were Here
Nach diesem Lied sollte es bekannt sein, wer Roger Waters ist. Er war mit Pink Floyd zusammen bis die sich 1985 gestritten haben. Ich finde es schade, weil die haben richtig gute Musik zusammen gemacht. Mein Lieblingslied ist Wish You Were Here

Roger Waters is known for his concerts after Pink Floyd. He has also held one of the biggest concerts in the world with 450,000 people attending, The Wall in Berlin. I did not find the concert, but this one.
Roger Waters ist bekannt für seine Konzerte nach der Zeit mit Pink Floyd. Er hat auch einer der größten Konzerte der Welt gehalten mit 450000 Leute die dabei waren, The Wall in Berlin. Das Konzert habe ich nicht gefunden, aber dieses hier.

Pink Floyd concerts are the best I have ever seen. I had never seen them with Waters. I do appreciate what he brought to the band but had not ever got into his solo career. I think their most popular stuff was with Waters but did grow to enjoy the band under Gilmore. He certainly has toured a lot living on the success of "The Wall". Recent recordings I have heard demo a voice that has had better years and the occupation has taken it toll. Still an amazing icon of the sound and "The Wall" will forever lead one to think about the tragic times of WWII and effects it leaves on the survivors.
