This is the first album of this emblematic German band of krautrock, remember that krautrock is the name used for German progressive rock, and among its main ingredients are experimentation, electronic, psychedelia and minimalism, all of them they combine to deliver a music centered not so much on the virtuosity of its musicians, but on the production of new sound environments ... which will become one of the main references of current electronic music.
The album begins with Hallo Gallo, a minimalist piece of 10 minutes in a mixture of sinister, acid and even spatial sounds, highlighting Rother's guitar in a perfect synchronization with Dinger's monochord drum. Other tracks to be highlighted are Sonderangerbot and Im Gluck, structured as experimental pieces and with a sound that remind us of Pink Floyd's rock space. Finally, Negativiland is a collage of sounds composed of drills, noises and voices very much in the style of Faust, another great genre band ...
In short, a very good record recommended above all to start in the dark waters of the Krautrock ....
