My Second Entry To Art Contest #8 Robot

Here is my second entry to the art contest hosted by @agneslaczo you may see the contest details here

My Idea, I am thinking about a globular shape and pipes being the materials. I want that industrial and repurposed look for this robot. A faucet is actually one of the inspirations. I will try to stick with three colors. Here is the base color and shape to get me started.

The pipes are slowly taking shape and made me decide to use them throughout. The bulbous red part is the head with ear-like structures. The flesh color part is the body with little arms branching out and the bottom blue part will be the legs.

This is the semi finished look with eyes. I made them look like golden buttons. The mouth is also finished, it looks like an opening of a metal mailbox. The head has some blue wirings but I decided to remove it towards the end.

Here is the final look with background. The robot is called O2 and that name is written on its left face like a label sprayed on. O2 lives outside the earth where there is less supply of oxygen. His main purpose is to supply the atmosphere with Oxygen. You can see it comes out of its two hands in the form of white vapor. On the background there are some UFO's flying around.
