OpenAI has developed this robot in collaboration with a company called Figure.

The robot has been named Figure 1 and a video has been released showing it talking.

This robot works on a new visual language model and this new system makes it as real as a science fiction movie robot.

The video shows the robot standing behind a table with a plate, an apple and a cup placed on the table in front of it.

The person standing in front of it asks, Figure 1 What are you looking at now? Seconds later, the robot describes the objects on the table and the person standing in front of it in a surprisingly human-like voice. .

When the person asks the robot to give him something to eat, the apple is picked up by Figure 1.

At this, the robot throws the paper into the trash, explaining that the apple was the only edible item on the table.

According to the company, Figure 1 has been trained with OpenAI's speech-to-speech multi-model to understand images and text and communicate accordingly.

According to the statement issued by the company, this robot is also capable of making logical arguments, remembering things and explaining itself.

Cameras installed in the robot provide data to its large visual language model, while the same model also helps the robot learn behaviour, the statement said.
