Scientists Made "Muscle" for Robots to Improve Their Self!

Scientists have developed a special "muscle system" for robots that works in a similar way to our muscles and can heal itself!
A group of lightweight robots from the Colorado Boulder University in the United States of America, Colorado, developed a muscle system that could cure itself for robots, rather than the hydraulic system used for certain purposes. This robotic muscle system, called HASEL, was announced in an article published last week in Science and Science Robotic magazine.

This robot muscle system, which is quite cheap and much more efficient than the old system, works with a very simple system. This muscle system, which is filled with a special oil that is electrically sensitive to the inside of the bags containing certain electrodes, relieves itself when the electric current is cut while it hardens when the electric current is supplied. On this note, it is almost as if the octopus will fundamentally change the future robotics field of this particular muscle system, which can reach muscle flexibility, the speed of the fly's muscles and almost the power of a fillin's muscles.

This muscle system, which is particularly cheap and easy to make, can only cost 3-5 cents with oil, an elastic bag to hold the oil, and electrodes. But according to Christopher Keplinger, head of the research team, the muscle system needs further development. Because for now, this very simple muscle system requires a lot of energy to work. But according to Keplinger, this problem will be resolved over time in the research team.
