Asylum Seeker Robs Store But Customer Who Tried To Stop Him Goes To Prison

Sweden -  Asylum seekers robbers avoid punishment - But the customer goes to prison. Jerry, 56 from Alunda was brutally robbed in  his shop just as he was closing. A man in around 30 years of age came in  with a knife and threatened Jerry, who immediately handed over the  day's takings.  
 

But when the robber was about to leave  the store he was disturbed by a customer who was coming into the store.  The customer quickly realized what had happened and overpowered the  robber with a big fist in the face. The robber could then be overpowered  by Jerry and the customer and the police were called. But no penalties were given to the  robber, then it turned out that he was an asylum seeker and because of  problems with a benefit payment he said he was justified robbing the  store.
