Road trip thrills

Out of just plain boredom from not doing anything -- since store is closed for the holiday -- we opted to use the afternoon going on a road trip.

With no plans at hand, here we are on the having a joy ride. I didn't know that roads are a little clearer during these times. Like there are less commuters, jeepneys and buses, less tricycle on the road.

A few minutes passed and here we are passing through this landmark.

Do you have any guess on about where this huge eagle is located and about where were we headed?

The joy of riding side by side with family is that it gives you a good time to talk. No serious talks though but still gives a relaxing feeling just being away from home. It is just like having a breath of fresh air. Take that literally too.

We passed by a few interesting sights:

When we decided to stop by a store, this rudimentary road caught me. It took me back in time when no internet or electronic devices were available.

Some lazy cow lounging under the tree on this rather hot day.

And look who came to hitch with us on this spur-of the moment trip.
