The catch is that I’m only going to obtain these SF funds from thrifting, which I barely do these days. Recycling will not apply and will be used for my living expenses. I’m going to force myself to thrift an uphill battle here where it’s hard to find good deals. I hit some stores today and barely found anything. Persistence with prevail. Oh, my Moonglo arrived today.

Oohh, thrifting only. That'd be harder but you have time. Try and see if there are any non-chain thrift stores around, they are often good or really bad for deals. Does your city have a goodwill pay by the pound outlet? Them places are still gold-mines.

The per pound Goodwill is a little bit of a hike to get to and is 95% clothes/shoes/books. It's a rat race with crazies stuffing bags and filling carts, so I rarely go there. The chain stores are actually my best bet since they have the most volume and I know many managers/what to expect. The smaller stores often fall in love with their merchandise and try to get maximum dollar for it. Any potential mistakes they may make aren't worth the time to go out of my way to swing in for 3 minutes to see the same stale stuff. Who knows though. I have the task in front of me and might need all resources available!

Ahh...

Well, I had a pretty successful day out thrifting. $1 for a Thuasne foot orthotic that is worth around the mid to high $100's. Also, paid $10 for a vintage Bosch rallye light kit in the box. Worth is $300-400.
