Difference between Ripple and XRP !!

Ripple is a company. This company offers bank
a software called Ripple Connect.This software
uses a protocol IPL to transfer money between
banks at low fees.This software does not use XRP.

So, what is XRP ?

XRP is a cryptocurrency which is not a part of Ripple connect. XRP helps in high speed transaction.
Banks are not using XRP right now to transfer money but the company is pushing the banks to use XRP as the currency of the

future.The success of Ripple does not gurantees the success of XRP.

Moreover there are 38.5 billion coins of XRP in market and 62 billions coins are with Ripple.
So if XRP touches $1 it would mean that the value of the company ripple will reach $38.5 billion.
