Women Love Ripple. Bitcoin Down. Coinbit New Exchange in Asia. Pakistians Buying Bitcoin.
Hello everyone. I hope you guys are having a great day today and had a wonderful weekend. I found some interesting articles that I wanted to go over this morning. But first to go over the market's really brief, things are currently down due to the the Upbit fiasco and how the South Korean authorities raided that exchange last week. But other than that prices are relatively normal. I would call this general market selling, and whales just pulling out based to the shakiness of things. With Consensus 2018 kicking off today, I do expect some interesting price moves in this market.
Quick Market Recap For Today: Only 8.5% of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Traders Are Female.
Alright so starting off with news for today with the first article. This one comes from Bitcoin.com titled "Only 8.5% of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Traders Are Female." The article states that a new demographic analysis of people trading in cryptocurrencies has brought up some intriguing results such as that very few are women, most have very little to no previous experience, and many are students or working in sales and marketing roles. The research tied to this article revealed that there are differences between the cryptocurrencies men and women prefer to trade, other than BTC which has 0% gender difference. And I think personally that 0% gender difference in Bitcoin is mostly due to the adoption and wide acceptance in Bitcoin within our main stream financial system. The article states interesting enough that it appears that Ripple's XRP skews strongly in the female side while ETC, BCH, and LTC are firmly in male territory. So there is a piece of advice for the Bitcoin Cash community. You guys can try marketing hard to women. Moving forward, in a note to investors, senior market analyst at Etoro Mati Greenspan, summarized it all with a clear message that women like Ripple. For me personally I think that Ripple's interface in general is about equally intimidating when it comes to purchasing the other crypto currencies. So I'd like to know what you women out there who are into Ripple are thinking? Is it cheap to you or do you see higher potential for Ripple in the future? What is your reason for getting into Ripple's XRP. And lastly what do you enjoy most about it. As for why there is a lack of women in the crypto currency space, the article chose not to go that SJW route. I personally think that its generally due to a lack of interest in the space. But as this space grows and becomes consumed with institutional money and mainstream adoption, I do see that male-female gap start to shrink and match that to other industries. But let me know what you guys think and all of this is just my personal opinion. [1]

Quick Market Recap For Today: Pakistanis Find Ways to Trade Bitcoin Rendering Ban Ineffective.
And for the last news for today I turn to Pakistan where the headline reads "Pakistanis Find Ways to Trade Bitcoin Rendering Ban Ineffective. So what is going on in Pakistan is that the crypto ban is proving to be not as effective as expected. In anything, the State Bank of Pakistan has barred commercial banks and financial firms from dealing in crypto currencies which makes life harder for local exchanges. Individual traders however are finding various ways to buy and sell Bitcoin. These traders do not care about the warnings or the stops placed by their government. Local Bitcoin which is a peer-to-peer Bitcoin exchange has seen tremendous growth since the Pakistan ban. I think the reason why these 2nd and 3rd world countries mostly have these bans in place is because they do not have the systems to regulate and keep track of what is going on. So I believe it is a matter of being complaint with KYC and AML laws. But give them some time, the future will be very bright for the Middle East, Africa, and Part of South America. Okay guys I have to run. Please let me know what you think about any of this news. You can leave a comment in the section below, and I will try my best to get back to you soon or through another blog post. Have a great rest of the day.
