The important thing is that the exchange is the very first in the world to exclusively use XRP as their base currency. DCEX’s trading is set to start within a few weeks.
this is a big move in the right direction as even though bitcoin may be the "store of value" XRP can be the intermediary for which crypto assets move around exchanges at very quick speed instead of waiting for transactions to confirm for 20+ minutes. If the scaling issue is fixed though on BTC then skys the limit on that asset but right now we need solutions and this is perfect!
