Revolut to include XRP exchange "soon"

Revolut (UK mobile banking startup) has just indicated that their users will be able to buy XRP on their app.

Currently users can purchase BTC, ETH and LTC on their app. However the downside is that they cannot currently send payments outside of the app. What they can do is send the coins between app users and use crypto for purchases by converting the coin balance into FIAT at the point of purchase (mid-market rate). The commission fee is also quite high at the moment at 1.5%.

So not too much use for seasoned crypto traders, however it allows more casual investors to purchase the digital asset at a decent price.
