Asian-Pacific and Middle East regulator Sagar Sarbani told mainstream media that the Ripple remittance network plans to launch an xRapid payment network within the next month.

SARVY: "I'm sure I'm going to release xRapid."

In an interview with CNBC on September 17, Sarbani said Ripple will release xRapid to use XRP token to implement cross-border payments between other banks.

He said:

"xRapid has a mechanism that provides flexibility in real time."

"We've been working on xRapid for the past couple of years, and I'm sure it'll come out in a month. In about a month or so, you'll hear good news that you'll be able to go through the production process and get the product to market."

CEO Efforts to Expand Use Cases

Over the past few months, the conflicting internal opinions of senior Ripple executives have drawn negative media attention, but the ripple road map has since begun to gain attention.

According to Bitcoinist's report, Ripple CTO David Schwartz delivered an interesting argument about Ripple's relationship with XRP Token.

In June, Schwartz said Ripple was not yet a "distributed leader," but last month he changed his argument by saying that XRP was "more fragmented" than Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Investors are calculating losses for the XRP's steepest $3.6 to 28 cents.

Schwartz sparked controversy over banks' claims not to use blockchain technology as a payment system, but Brad Galinghaus had a bold outlook for xRapid's future popularity. In an interview with CNBC, he said:

"I declare that by the end of this year major banks are confident that xRapid will be used as a liquidity tool."
