However, this is not so noteworthy, because Ripple is still a centralized platform, because of its non-trustless nature.

Banks could equally use Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum over Ripple right now.

It’s a fluke, but Ripple holders mostly only know Bitcoin and Ripple and don’t know much about decentralization, so this is “great” news for them.

Whales know this, so they also buy Ripple, but they will dump it hard soon again.
