We are proud to announce that the International Chess Federation (FIDE) has come to AVAX.

The FIDE is a world ranking system for chess players and is one of the most recognized organizations in the world. It serves as an umbrella organization for all chess federations, and its mission statement is to promote, develop and safeguard the game of chess.

The FIDE has been using blockchain technology since 2016, when it was first introduced by IBM. The most recent move by FIDE came on January 23rd when it announced that it would be migrating its existing data onto our blockchain platform. This migration will allow us to provide more services such as an event ticketing system, tournament management system and a player ranking system.
