Be Aware of the presense of Ripple and XRP this October

The swell event is drawing closer as more and more people I talk to are loading up on bags upon bags of XRP, The swell event will be held October 16 in Toronto.

We have seen the effects of what a person like Jamie Dimon can do to the cryptocurrency markets so what happens when Ben Bernanke is talking about ripple... we will have to wait and see.

Ripple's goal is different than that of other cryptocurrencies which require a lot of adoption for it to become a prominent power and yielding returns. In fact a lot of cryptocurrencies are driven by hype and high returns that people have seen in the past. To me , being an investor doesn't just mean going with the trends of what people are pumping up but what technology is here to stay and has an actual use case.

All Ripple has to do is get some banks on board and use ripple both for their liquidity as well as faster transaction timing leading to saved money on all ends. This is not just a win for banks , but also solves many problems for businesses who are globalized like paypal, amazon and ebay.

The fact that ripple went after the banking industry first is probably the smartest move I've seen in the cryptocurrency market thus far. Banks hold trillions in liquidity , so instead of going after everyone using XRP for payments wouldn't it make more sense to market it where the REAL money is ?

A lot of people hate Ripple because they think it is " The bankers coin" and the argument most of those people hold is that bitcoin is free of government tyranny, which is 100% FALSE.

Here are the facts:

Bitcoin has many problems, already in the US states depending on where you live you have to pay capital gains tax on profits from bitcoin to US government.

Transactions take 30 minutes to an hour or even longer.

Every address can be tracked back to see who sent what from where

Monero is a better option and I would rather put my money personally into coins that are TRULY ANONYMOUS rather than bitcoin because they serve the purpose that bitcoin was intended for.

The only reason I think we still have a lot of hype around bitcoin is because it is the coin you buy so you can buy other altcoins. Once altcoins are easier to purchase bitcoins dominance in the market will shrink. most people are just hearing about bitcoin or just starting into it now. Most of these people don't even know how it functions but they know that money has been made in it so they jump on the bandwagon.

Make smart investing decisions with a clear plan! Do I think Bitcoin could hit $20,000 usd , it is quite possible, but I see more potential in things like Monero, Ripple, Metal, Civic, Ethereum, bitshares, and omiseGo.

Look for value based always on these three things to start and anything extra you find is what I call the "true potential"
1 do they have a white paper
2 do they have a good dev team
3 do they have a clear use case that is unique.

If they meet this criteria and there is still even more potential (for example: Metal is FDIC insured 250,000) this is what will drive the prices and make for a great investment. Day trading is fun but I follow the old rule of "if your not willing to hold something for 10 years you shouldn't hold it for 10 minutes"

Believe in what you invest in, don't follow other people because I guarantee they have some kind of motive to push that token and their personal stash. Do your own research, I try to put together articles that strictly focus on the facts, I do put my personal preference in and I know that its not going to be the investors to drive price up , the banks trillions in liquidity will.

Do I believe in Ripple?
100% I do, but only after doing days upon days of research before filling the bag, and the willingness to hold for the next 6 years or more.
