Evolution of The Ripple (XRP)

Ripple is a real-time gross settlement system (RTGS), currency exchange and remittance network created by the Ripple company. Also called the Ripple Transaction Protocol (RTXP) or Ripple protocol. Today this token has a total market cap of around $30 billion.

As I have reported earlier about the Rising of Ripple : Due to Many unofficial partnership announcements. It is not confirmed yet whether it is a rumor or not but it says An Amazon partnership would expose this Cryptocurrency to hundreds of millions of web users and would almost certainly increase demand for the coins.

What does the rumor say?

Amazon may be considering accepting Ripple as a mode of payment due to its low transaction fees, the high inventory of coins and fast processing. Ripple transaction fees are fixed, means if Ripple value increases, the dollar cost of the transaction falls. If Ripple were to experience the kind of growth that would occur after an Amazon partnership is announced, then the transaction fees would become truly microscopic. It’s easy to see why such a move would be highly lucrative for a major internet business like Amazon.

What is the authenticity of this News?

It doesn’t seems like there is much reliable news for this Partnership. Also there are no comments from Amazon. Instead, it looks like a number of analysts have concluded this analysis report. Analyst reports like this are common across the world of business, but it would be silly for investors to get too excited at this point.

Yes it is confirmed that Amazon has registered a few cryptocurrency related domain names, there are few signs that the company is developing the type of infrastructure that a move like this would require. All these so called rumors and Amazon deal is currently a story to watch, but we can not expect any immediate effect.
