Found the above infographic on internet, tried looking for its source on ripple's website and found this interesting news article
https://ripple.com/insights/ripple-continues-to-bring-internet-of-value-to-life-new-features-increase-transaction-throughput-to-same-level-as-visa/

According to the press release, Ripple has introduced new features (Escrow and Payment Channel) that enables Ripple to process 'tens of thousands of transactions per second' as compared to 1000 currently.

If the above statement can be believed, Ripple can shatter one of the greatest roadblocks of Blockchain technology and place it in the leagues of Visa and American Express in terms of processing power.

One thing that I would really like to see at this juncture is, what Ripple's clients (esp. banks) have to say after using this platform (ripple claims to have 75 banks on its network). A lot of dust would be cleared once we have actual feedback from the ground.

Till then remain invested in one of revolutionary technologies of today.
