Will Ripple reach $100 by 2020? Yes, it will

There is a lot of talking about Ripple lately, more precisely XRP (Ripple token). This is due to the fact that in a little less than a month it climbed to second place among the crypto currencies with the highest market capitalization, surpassing Ethereum. Now it's third, but still my point.

First of all we are going to establish an important difference between XRP and other cryptocurrency known as Bitcoin, Ethereum or LiteCoin: the maximum amount of existing XRP tokens is already in circulation (more precisely there are 38.738.144.847 XRP). Which means, we already have a pre-established limit. Needless to say, it is a cryptocurrency where there is no mining.

Taking into account several factors, such as the alliance with several financial entities recognized worldwide (A LOT) as AMEX, or the recent news of the inclusion of XRP in Coinbase in January, we could say that this hypothetical price could be realized during the first half of 2018.

Now, going to your question in particular, to reach 100 USD / XRP, we would be talking about a market capitalization of 5X the total market capitalization of cryptocurrency. With the degree of acceptance that the digital currency is having, and future projects and upcoming alliances, by the year 2020 it could come to fruition. All talking about the long term, of course.

From my point of view, I would say that if you have the opportunity to invest in XRP today, do not hesitate for a second. It's the moment. But also do not forget that it is better to diversify, do not invest all your money in a single option.
