Another one bites the dust - 10 year old Romanian torrents tracker shuts down
10 years go, a local Internet Provider network in Bucharest, Romania, called CZone, set out to create an information sharing network (a torrenting site).
Over time, the local ISP network was purchased by what became the largest internet provider in Romania (RCS-RDS) but the group did not give up on their information sharing project, thus CZTeam was born.
torrents.czteam.ro was accessible, up and running, until about a week ago when the below message appeared as a notification to the users. I've translated it to English:
The time has come to pull the plug.
After 10 years I can say I met exceptional people and don't regret any moment spent by their side. Goods and bads altogether, we were here, with you, our users, without requesting anything in return.
Going forward we are recommending you sign up for new digital content providers such as Netflix, VOYO, HBO GO etc.RIP CzT
Thank you to everyone who have contributed to the network's growth, among them I would like to mention the below but most probably there are more that I don't remember right now:

What happen most probably is that they received a CAD and had to close the gates. Activities like this started happening more after Netflix showed up in Romania too, earlier this year.

I don't find Netflix covers everyone's taste, we have had it a few months, there's never anything upto date
It's true. One thing you can do is get a VPN that 'locates' you in the US or other country and then you get access to more content. Like I said in a comment below, it's currently not worth the 10E/month they're asking for it here in Romania.
I'm in the UK I find Netflix a total waste of money whereas my 18 yr old can catch up with all the series's

I was on tvtorrent.ro ....and then it transform into freshon.tv....
They will soon wither and die ....
Another example is cable tv ...that already....is dead...at least for me.
HBO is alive because they whent digital and now is the time for streaming.
tbh I would switch and pay for Netflix if it was worth it, but unfortunately not all content is available in RO and it's not worth the 10E they're asking.
I think filelist.ro might work out ok still.
