January 5 , 1914 Henry Ford announced the 5 dollar a day job wage he instantly made a middle class and people were able to afford the product they were building...oh yea this included blacks.

This year marks the 50th year anniversary of the Detroit riots. Who would have known that the night of July 25th would be the beginning of what I like to call the "Great White Flight" across 8mile.

See 8mile (baseline) is the dividing line for Wayne county(Detroit) Oakland and Macomb counties.
