The first photo was taken in Mount Cook, New Zealand. That's the furthest point I reached in NZ, then I had to turn around and hitchhike 1500km back to Auckland.

This was taken in Castle Hill, New Zealand and I have a story how we got here: We started to Hitchhike with Charles early that day from Arthur’s Pass, and the 3rd car stopped. An old American man picked us up and mentioned that he has a lot of time until his family arrives to Christchurch and then said: "There is a special place around here, do you want to see it?" We said sure.
