Rick and Normie is a terrible show, written for a generation of developmentally knee capped hedonists.

In an effort to space out my day and break out of my, contrarian echo chamber, I've taken to hate watching one Rick and Morty, starting with this youtube compilation, which promised that this is the best of what our comedic brain trust known as Adult Swim has to offer. I understand this is supposed to be comedy, however, the twelve yearolds and permanent residents of some boomer's living room couch don't and try to pass this off as something more.

Remember how I said I wanted to kill myself? Well The fact the I'm still writing might dash the hopes of those wishing I'd have already repainted my roof redsauce, I stumbled across this gem that makes whatever is going on seem so pointless, because there will always be, formulaic, all punchline, comedy's equivalence to prefab housing.

If you think I'm making a big deal about something that's just supposed to be comedy, then you are just admitting how everything, from the writing to the animation, is just bad and that this show is only funny because you (and 40 million other permanent child, drooly, tardlets ) also like; well established, nerd culture, SiFy blockbuster movies that this show borrows from, for nearly every premise for it's skits or scenarios. When the writing isn't busy trying to cut away to some alternate universe by using dumb plot devices like intergalactic cable, cutting away to a different scene to explain an observation made by a character (Family Guy has shown how this never gets tiresome) or referencing 90's fads. It's pandering to the teenybopper audience by using memes (again, Family Dad writers should jump off a bridge for doing this), but this is to be expected because this show is just all punchline, no set up or explanation, which is perfect for people that worship at the alter of; George Lucas's, fever dream, Never Ending Story for grown ups or people that regurgitate the same tired Dr. Who memes in a back and fourth with a trap they met on Tinder (I just want to nut and catch bugs Amy, stop talking about how if you had a Tardis you would go back in time to kill Donald Trump, nobody gives a shit about the political inclinations of Women or their impersonators, you are just a piece of meat to us.) I really don't think anyone should give any heed to those who defend the show on the grounds that it is somehow, deep, complex or for any other reason than them finding it funny. These people are probably such incredibly, one dimensional, narcissistic drone people, there really is no wonder why they watch the fucking thing to begin with.

Fuck this piece of shit show, it blows ass and I wish the animators would commit artist suicide by trying to depict the Prophet Muhammad (in other words, please 9/11 Adult Swim HQ). I'm too much of an antisocial shit bag, Archie Bunker caveman racist, to have friends and by extension be in on the jokes that don't revolve around being a wacky nod to science fiction or is a blatant meme! Should this break five views and I get a few comments that aren't calling me out for being a pretentious retard that actually analyzes comedy, I'll give my thoughts on an entire episode.
