I totally agree... I'm still in the "work for free" stage as my vote only worths $0.01 and bot votes aren't enough... but I think I'm getting there... we have to work toward the goal!!

I thought there might be a few bots because ive had random follow unfollows from sketchy accounts. but i feel like steemit will hopefully have some luck cracking down on those accounts with tones of down votes or something.

There are some good bots, like the ones PAL/MSP teams made.. and the Originalcontent bot..... there's also minnowpond bot but that one still at early stages... its vote won't be a big help.
There's also cheetah bot which searches the internet for similar content to all steemit posts, this can be either good or bad bot but in my opinion it's a good.
