Rhododendron is a flowering plant with close to 1000 varieties.
Ormangülü, 1000'e yakın çeşidi bulunan çiçekli bir bitkidir.
Ormangülü çiçekli bir bitki türü olduğundan kurak bölgelerin dışından dünyanın çoğu yerine dağılmıştır. Mor ormangülü Karadeniz Bölgesinde bulunan ve sadece oraya özel bir türdür. Özellikle "Deli Bal" ve "Anzer Balı" gibi Karadeniz Bölgesine has balların içeriğinde bu çiçeğin özü bulunur. Çiçeğin kök kısmını ağzınızla emdiğinizde bal özünü rahatlıkla hissedersiniz.
