Rhapsodist Writing Contest # 4. Behind the high stone wall

The branches of apple trees lean towards the ground under the weight of apples.
She puts the apples in a large basket.
Her garden is huge and beautiful.
There is a great variety of fruits and vegetables in it.

Near the high stone wall there is her favorite pear tree with extremely sweet pears.
But she picks pears only from the lower branches.
She can't decide to look behind the stone wall.
She is sure that there is cruel hostile world behind her stone-wall...

She remembers how evil people can be and how they can injure and hurt her feelings...
That's why she can't decide to talk to people.
Her companions are plants, her goat with kids, hens with chickens, a cock and her old dog Toby.

She has become accustomed to her solitary existence behind a stone wall.
The climate here is very warm, and she has water and food. So she can survive alone.

If she accidentally hears the voices of people behind the stone wall, she speedily steps away from it...
She does not want to know anything about what is happening behind the wall...

She can't decide to let in her life even a tiny part of the outside world...
