RE: Since it's now acceptable to reward yourself.
what are you complaining about? You signed up less than a month ago and you're already at an average of 5 SBD per day. At the current rate, this is equal to some 30-40$...
Hi @doodlebear,
I don't even know how to check that, but thanks for informing me that I'm doing well, it's nice to know! : )
I can't get off the platform since I love to share my thoughts and get meaningful responses to them, maybe that's why I'm averaging 5 SMT (SoMeThing) per day. Once again, I'm thrilled to know that the right approach is working after all. : )
Still, whether I am or I am not doing well for my time here, it's always unpleasant to know that there are easy possibilities for cheating (or maybe not cheating but abusing the system) once you have a lot of power.
Anyways, I suppose that @rewardpoolrape's intention with this post is to increase awareness about this, and awareness could eventually initiate some changes.
Could you please let me know how to check average SBD per day?
Cheers!
Not knowing what he does - he has too little SP to get to these amounts, so maybe there is a serious glitch - I don't think there will be any consequences to this. It's part of the system and the discussion flames up once in a while (I'm now on the platform since August..), but the best thing to do is to get used to the downsides and do some of the "cheating" yourself, which is especially the usage of upvote bots.
Powerful users abusing the system won't stop, you just have to become one yourself and avoid controversial stuff or one of the big whale nutters targets you as it happened to me a few days ago.
I only looked at the $ amount next to your articles on your profile and I looking again here, I have to say you're already doing by far better than I did at the beginning. Not to speak of the current SBD price..
Here is some advice I give to newbies on steemit:
I will follow you now. (<- always add that to a comment when you intend to follow the person who wrote the article. This way, you increase the likelihood that they follow you as well.)
Wow, thanks a lot for the advice, much appreciated!
