That's a fantasy. There is a tendency that if you involve yourself in a certain strata of people and transactions, you will end up inhabiting that type of world. If your friends are thieves, expect to be ripped off.

But I'm doubtful there is a real ledger in the sky keeping track of how good and bad you are. That's a brainwashing you have been given by the scumbags in charge to keep you docile. Most of the rich, powerful and evil are going to their graves as happy as they can be (except for the fact they are dying).
