The value of Steem is on the rise and SBD is losing its mind!
So as of right now Steem has gone from $0.90 to what looks to be $1.20 +
This isn't the first time that Steem has done something like this before and in the past its usually relatively short lived. However with that said, maybe this time the coin will gain some traction and steady out at this new price. The sky is the limit. Honestly the platform is worth every cent.
It will take 3.5 days for our account values to reflect the new value. With that said we are seeing a somewhat tragic event go down. And that is the massive pump on the value of SBD.
While Steem has only gone up 20% SBD peaked off at 120% at the highest. This insane pump on SBD can mean that a lot of poor souls who did not know the actual purpose of the currency have spent a lot of money investing in it.
SBD is meant to be tethered to the USD! I hope that the people who are buying know how to save themselves before they lose too much money! This is a very odd event to have occurred!
The only thing that I can think is that maybe people who are buying the currency are under the impression that SBD is the main currency of the Steemit platform. I don't know why they would do this to themselves!

SBD will return to $1 eventually.. probably in less than 24 hours if my prediction is right. which is sad for those putting money in it...
