Creole Cajun Bistro Review-Chandler, Arizona
You may wonder what makes a vegetarian stumble into a Cajun restaurant, restaurants whose menus are typically loaded with meats of all kinds. In this case, we found this restaurant based on the tip that if you are looking for Cajun food far from the bayou, Creole Cajun Bistro is the place to go.
You may not associate the arid desert with Cajun cuisine, but this restaurant in Chandler, Arizona had Cajun food as good as any I've ever had in New Orleans.
The spunky bartender was attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu. You won't regret trying one of their famous hurricanes, a sweet rum based cocktail made by expert hands.
For more adventurous meat eaters, the menu features Cajun staples like frog legs and fried alligator. But the vegetarian menu offerings were flavorful, and included typical Cajun and Creole specialties like Étouffée, fried green tomatoes, hush puppies, and sweet corn fritters. You could taste in each bite that the dishes we sampled were made of the freshest and finest ingredients. The chef himself was the owner, and everything was made fresh as it was ordered.
The interior is festive in typical French Quarter style. Decked out in the mardi gras masks with purple, green, and gold hanging all around. And you can't leave without trying a beignet, the classic New Orleans pastry, covered in irresistible confectioner's sugar.
That food looks extremely delicious and the description about it is good.
Keep flourishing.
That picture of that cocktail made me thirsty. 😁
