The Iron Throne - My final review of Game Of thrones Valar morghulis.
Although it is a bit late to come to talk about what most of us already saw. Here is my review of the final episode of the series loved and hated by many; Game of Thrones. Join me in this last post about this HBO show...
The final episode of GOT divided the fans. There are those who loved it but others hate it. The sTV show faced the most complicated thing that a show of so much renown can face, to conclude the history closing cycles. But unfortunately many believe that many things were missing to tell.
After presenting seasons full of epic, exciting, and sad moments. The final season arrived, generating very high expectations. As the episodes progressed, more and more people showed their discontent with the writers. The public eye was on the long-awaited final chapter. At last after so long we would know what was going to happen with the characters that remained after the last war. The theories, despite the criticism of the season, were still very relevant. Since GOT was characterized by the hypothetical contribution of all those who saw it.
But as a Venezuelan character said back in 94th - -The results were not expected -... As you read, for many it was not what they expected. Others admired the conclusion they offered. And those who are like me, who simply said "Meh" without offending or getting excited, we only had that flavorless. However, if you ask me, I would answer no. The episode was not bad, quite the opposite. Soon you will know why.
Throughout the last season the quality of the script was very remarkable. However in the last episode, many agreed that the series had returned what had been removed, very interesting dialogues.
My favorite in this episode was Queen Daenerys with Jon Snow in front of the iron throne. A very emotional moment that will be perpetrated in the history of TV. At that precise moment one of the most tragic things happened, Jon would become Queenslaye. Manifesting her love and loyalty to Dany he crosses her with a sword. Finishing this way with the short reign of the mother of dragons.
Drogon who was there gave us one of the most spectacular and moving scenes. The sad boy who lost his mother started to move Dany's still body, trying to get her to react and get up, but it was too late. In a moment of anger Drogon directed his anger at Jon Snow who at one point doubted his future and feared for his life.
The angry dragon roared like never before and led the best Dracarys EVER towards the iron throne.Melting it completely in a matter of seconds. The message was clear: If it is not my mother who will sit on the iron throne, no one will.
After that, there was still a single mystery to be solved. Who would sit on the iron throne? And under what condition that person would do it. At that point, it was a mystery. We had just seen how Jon Snow had betrayed the love of his life. But everything to prevent that the madness consumed her and ended up burning all Westeros, as she had done in king's landing.
Recall that theories were present in all episodes. The final chapter was not going to be the exception. Remember why we praised the episode: Good dialogues, an impeccable photograph. One of the most memorable deaths of the entire show ... until then everything was fine. It is here where perhaps most were a little disconcerted. But as I said at the beginning, the end had divided the opinions.
It is up to you, dear reader, to decide if what we saw in the final episode was something worth seeing or not. Bran Stark became the new King of Westeros. After hearing the wise words of Tyrion, the lords of the oldest houses decided by voting what the new process would be like to elect the king. Yes, basically all the series years were summarized in that they implemented a system of choice, as a conclave in the Vatican. Or a board of directors in a company. And GOT is over ... I tried to do a more extensive review of this episode, but the impact was so great that even those who did not see the show knew that Bran The Broken had become King.
Got was known that his plot was around politics, but that vacuum of unsolved subframes is what perhaps annoy those who retained a vestige of hope that would end those stories that were what kept us hooked to the show However, expectations were greater than reality. Or at least that's what some people thought. I think the most difficult part of such an epic show is the end. Keep in mind that the series is based on some books that have not yet been published. In my humble opinion I think that the last season of GOT was made with the intention of increasing sales of books. In this way the real fan can know the "true end" (although I do not think it changes) however the subframes will have the end we all wanted.
I almost forgot, Sansa becomes queen of the north. Arya is going to explore Westeros. Bran rules everything and our beloved Jon Snow goes back to where everything started To the Night's watch.
Undoubtedly there is something we all agree on. The gap left by GOT can not fill anything, were good and bad moments. But that only shows the diversity that the program possessed. Goodbye Game of Thrones.
