Review of the film "Neil Stryker and the Tyrant of Time" (2017)

The world premiere of the new feature film "Neil Stryker and the Tyrant of Time" directed by Rob Taylor, shot by American filmmakers in the genre of sci-Fi militant's, Thriller and adventure Comedy, took place on April 11, 2017.

On the date of its release in the Russian rental information on the Internet is not yet available, but it can be viewed on any of the sites that offer free services for viewing various videos online, without registration and in good image and sound quality, after reading them with information on the content of the plot films. I often look at these sites and new products, and already my favorite movies.

This film caught my attention with its name and the genres in which it was shot. That's why I'm interested in its content.

So, what is the audience of the creators of this film in its plot?

In the center of his story about how one crazy scientist invented a time machine, which began to travel between eras through the time portal he discovered in the Universe.

Against this background, he developed a megalomania, and he began to build Napoleonic plans to capture the entire Earth and establish dictatorial power on it.

The detainee is a former agent of the governmental units of the Elite forces Neil Stryker, who had once worked together with him, this genius was imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital, but due to the negligence of its employees, he was able to escape. Now Stryker was tasked to track down informally this psychopath and either capture and deliver him back to the asylum, or destroy upon detection.

Gathering a team to match himself, brave and crazy Neil goes on a mission...

This film stars David Ogden Styers, Rob Taylor, Nick Costa, Walter Koenig, Matt Zack, breena Smith and other actors who, in principle, coped well with their roles.

I will not recommend this film for viewing, because I can not even determine what age category it is designed for.

The construction of the plot he would suit students of Junior or middle classes, as similar to third-rate comics. At the same time, due to the presence of incredibly bloody scenes, profanity and nudity, it is not worth watching to underage viewers. Those who are older, this film will be quite uninteresting. Well, except that, to see once for the sake of laughter, although there is not so much funny.

There are, of course, worthy of praise moments in it, but there are few of them. In particular, it is teleportation through the time gate, the use of several samples of future technology, a number of good special effects and music.

I did not like the Russian voice of the film. The phrases sound chopped, the translation is such that it does not create a feeling of normal, ordinary human speech, as if the robots are talking to each other. I regretted the time spent watching this film, although I had high hopes for it.
