RE: Friday the 13th - Character Jason 8
The idea to send a maniac beyond the crystal lake, where he, apparently, becomes cramped, and go beyond his jurisdiction, finally leads the authors into a creative impasse and closer to the end of the picture turns into a mere cinematic disgrace. The fact that Jason is fully mastering teleportation, perfectly boxing, swimming, and in the very center of the city purposefully hunts only members of the school heat-roller, somehow can assimilate in his head, but look for the point in the ending where he turns into a baby, having bathed in urban sewage , there is absolutely no need. And it's not even elements of the self-irony that was soaked in the sixth part, but simply a form of mockery of the franchise.
