Bonk became the de-facto mascot for the TurboGrafx-16 when Bonk's Adventure was released in 1990. It's no surprise then that there were sequels and the first sequel, Bonk's Revenge, was released the following year.

The Bonk games, including Bonk's Revenge, are fairly typical 2D platform games. Bonk is a cave-man type character and the game is set in prehistoric times. The 16-bit graphics are nice and Bonk's Revenge is a pretty decent game even if it is a little short.

Bonk's Revenge was re-released for the Turbo Duo as one of the games on the CD pack-in in 1992.

There was also a Bonk game for the Super NES. Great article also.

Super Bonk was released by Hudson Soft in 1994 after the TurboGrafx-16 / Turbo Duo had been abandoned in the U.S. There was a Super Bonk 2 also but that one was only released in Japan. That was the last Bonk game to be released on a console (there was a mobile phone release later on).

Too bad Konami killed the updated Bonk game for 360 and PS3. It looked awesome as far as what has been released.
