Do you know what computer has appeared in more TV shows and movies than any other system? My first guess would have been the Apple II. That was a very popular computer. Maybe a Tandy as those computers were found in many schools & homes. The answer is the Commodore 64. That makes sense to me as it is the number one selling computer of all time. Not a line of computers from Commodore, but one particular model! As for it being filmed most is not based on any actual documentation, but from a list I found. It is amazing how many shows the C64 appears in to this day. Even shows that are not computer nerd in nature. I was watching, John Wick: Chapter 2 the other night and seen one. It was actually kind of cool. It was part of the really crazy system they used to put out contracts on people. It looked like they used it to send out mass text messages. I love seeing old tech being used in creative ways like that.
