Retro Games Top 5 - Part 17 - Mario Fan Theories that Change Everything!
Mario is probably one of the most well known, if not, the most well known Games character of all time. There have been more Mario titles than you can shake a stick at. But some of these fan theories change absolutely everything you think you know about the Mario you know and love.
5 – Zelda & Mario;- Many people believe that Zelda and Mario take place in the same world but in very different locations. This theory is because there is a lot of shared content between the 2 franchises, most notable is the 'Chain Chop' that we see in most of the games, there is also a flute that we see in Mario 3 that does the same thing in Zelda. Not to mention a host of other characters that have appeared in both games.
4 – Bowser is Peach's Farther;- In the Mario universe we see characters from walking talking mushrooms to bullets that chase after you. So its safe to assume that when 2 of these characters get together and get busy, there offspring could be a dude in a cloud or if Bowser got with a human looking woman they could have had Peach. The theory is Mario and Bowser don't get along, Peach try's to visit her farther, when Mario turns up, they fight. And by this thinking as well, Bowser is the True Ruler of the mushroom kingdom.
3 – Mario is the Avatar;- In many games we see Mario have a number of abilities, including through fire, can fly with wings or a cloud or even just a sheet, he can smash through bricks with ease and survive under water for as long as he wants. A post on Reddit said ''Mario can bend fire, earth, water and air, Mario is the Avatar'', and when you think about it. He is. But only after he eats some crazy magic mushrooms. (that takes me back)
2 – Mario is a Super hero;- In the Mushroom kingdom, the majority of characters are very weak and can be stunned or killed by Mario. He can simply just step on the mushrooms or troopers, and compared to them, Mario can through fire, and destroy brick walls as if they were not there. So from a fungus' point of view he is a super hero.
This could be the reason why he is called Super Mario.
1 – Mario is a has been;- Mario has officially only saved the Mushroom kingdom once, and that was in the original Mario game. Since then he has been milking that fact ever since and trying to get as much fame as possible. Mario 2 was all a dream, Mario 3 was Mario in a play world and Mario 64 was a reality TV show as there was always a flying camera man following you about. Since the first game, he has been making some quick cash of one good deed he did in his younger days. Just like most celebs today. As for the other Mario games. Yes Mario is a part of it but not the main character.
Its crazy to believe, but if you think about it, some of theses theories actually make a lot of sense.

Love these @techmojo definitely some things to think about when it come to super mario more of a zelda fan but i like both alot.
well i do have a number of retro game theories lined up. but if you want. Zelda will be up tomoz. ;)
